As the author and founder of the Peanut Blossom Book Club, I want you to know I take immense pride in the content I create for you.

My hope is to inspire you to rediscover your love of reading through fun book club books.

Please be assured that this site is written and developed by an actual book lover who understands the challenges of busy family life.

Dedication to High Quality Content

The book reviews and book lists shared on PeanutBlossomBookClub.com are based on books I have personally read or that have come highly recommended by my personal friends or one of the 10,000+ members of the online Peanut Blossom Book Club on Facebook.

I began blogging on my first website, Peanut Blossom, in 2009. The Peanut Blossom Book Club was launched in 2015 and I have shared dozens of book-related posts over the years.

In the fall of 2023, I decided to move all the book-related content onto a dedicated home and this website was born. I am still in the process of migrating all the book content over to the new home I have built.

I spend 50% of my time updating old posts to make sure that the entire archive is as high of a quality as my readers have come to expect. You can find the most recently updated date near the title on each article.

Original Content

I am the sole writer of this website. I have personally read the vast majority of books mentioned on this site.

The book lists by topic are created from recommendations from the Peanut Blossom Book Club Facebook group or my own reading list bookmarks.

I write the book club questions for the book club kits myself. They are often based on the reader’s guides at the back of many books but I always try to keep in mind the realities of an actual book club group discussion. I belonged to a real live book club for 8 years before launching our online club so I remember how fun it is to connect with your book club members on a personal level. Book clubs are often more about the friends than they are the books themselves.

The recipes I recommend for the matching party menus come directly from my food blog, PeanutBlossom.com. I have personally cooked, photographed, and eaten each of the recipes mentioned on the site.

Accuracy and Corrections

I strive to keep the information on this website as accurate as possible. When I make a mistake, I correct it as quickly as I can. You’ll find the most recently updated date at the top of each article.

Original Photography

I have personally photographed all of the books that are featured in reviews on this site.

I buy the books myself or borrow them from the library and stage them on the coffee table in my living room.

I edit the photos in Lightroom for color, contrast, and exposure but do my best to accurately depict what the physical book looks like in person.

Stock Photography

I make every attempt to use my own original photography for all content but for book lists I sometimes use the marketing version of the book cover that is featured on book seller websites like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Bookshop.

I have also used legally licensed stock photography from stock photo websites and Canva to illustrate articles where original photography is not essential to the overall quality of the piece. You’ll find stock photography used on some of the reading lifestyle articles in particular.

I use a personal photo at every opportunity, stock is used as a back up only as needed.

Thank You for Your Support

I believe it is a great honor to be a small part of your limited free time during your busy days. My mission is to help you find your love of reading and spend some precious moments in self care.

By choosing to spend your time on Peanut Blossom Book Club, you are helping to support a mom who works from home so she can be more available for her kids. You have made a real impact on my ability to provide simple things like tap dance lessons, tutors, band gear, and prom dresses for my daughters.

Thank you so much for your support of this woman-owned small business.
