When picking a book club book for December, I love to go with a fun and breezy holiday romance because that's about all my brain has room for during that busy time of year!
The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score checks all the right boxes and was such a fun read I just had to pick it for this year's line-up.

What is The Christmas Fix About?
"There's only one thing standing in the way of Cat King saving Merry, Connecticut's Christmas festival: Grumpy town manager Noah Yates.
Single dad Noah takes his responsibilities seriously. When a late season hurricane turns his town into a disaster, he's left scrambling to pick up the pieces of the town he loves.
At least, until home renovation expert and reality TV star Catalina King arrives with a camera crew and a budget big enough to put the town back together again. But Noah doesn't want a celebrity diva capitalizing on their tragedy or filling his young daughter's head with visions of glitz and glam.
Blonde bombshell Cat is used to being underestimated, but Noah has an uncanny knack for getting under her skin. Book Club Party Menu
I think it is so fun to plan your book club dinner menu or dessert list based on the theme of the book.
For The Christmas Fix, the obvious choice would be to stick to a hot cocoa and cookies theme for the holidays.
You could make a batch of my crockpot hot chocolate and then offer festive liqueurs on the side for grown-up hot chocolates.
My Christmas sugar cookie bars are easy since they're baked in a simple 9x13-inch baking dish but a batch of Christmas M&M cookies is easy to prep ahead, too.
